Wow! Like I said I can't believe it's done. Planning for this diorama began in november of 2003 (at the time of the kits release). Here we are November 2004 and It's really, really done.  I started out with just a few rough sketches of the hangar/base to get an Idea of how things would shape up. I did not begin working on the project untill early April 2004.

 

There is a lot I could say about the kit, the dio, the basic Idea and whatever, but I'm not gonna get started on that here. Details of the progress can be seen @ the Project Zephyranthes page. I will talk more about the process later on...maybe...once I get the proper sleep.

 

I'm gonna add  more pictures later on of the GP01 in the ground form later, but for now I just wanted to get these pix out so I can move on to other projects.

 

Before I shut my piehole, I need to thank Nao from RainbowTen Models in Japan and Michael "FichtenFoo" Fichtenmayer, and the entire Child of Mecha board for all the help and encouragement. I also need to send a special thanks to Peter "Bawoo" Savin for providing another Kick @$$ set of decals to adorn the Gundam. Thanks, bro!
